Mait biking (HD video taken with my new ex-fh100 :D).

The hightlights for the third day were:

• The steepest vineyard of the world in Calmont.
• The most likely biggest Maypole of the world in Ediger.

After change of plans we stayed in Ediger instead of Cochem, mainly because it was getting too much for the children, so we biked only 35 km this day.

The second day highlights:

• The superb home-made grape juice we got for breakfast, the clossed guess was apple-rhubarb juice
• The most impresive was the roman wineship in Neumagen.

After 60km, with lunch at Kues, we arrived to today destination Enkirch.

We enjoyed this long weekend biking along the mosel with our friends the Ots from Brussels.

The first day we meet in Trier, we came by train and the Ots by car, and we started biking at 15 o'clock.

The highlights of the day were:

• We were so lucky to escape an unexpected storm having a glass of local wine in a nice cafeteria along the river
• We just passed by Detzen when a big ship was going through the lock

and, after 40km, we arrived very late to our destination for this day in Trittenheim.

We biked one nice afternoon to the japanese garden in Leverkusen.

The spring is slowly arriving to Cologne, and Mait can start to use his main christmas present...

Meile anti nädalavahetuseks testida Chariot Captain XL koos imikusisuga ja Mait tegi täna oma elu esimese rattasõidu:D

See imikusisu ei toetanud siiski tema pead küllaldaselt ja kuna talv on tulemas, siis me ootame kärsitusega (eriti Michael:p) järgmist kevadet, et endile selline käru muretseda! Muidu oli käru fantastiline ja väga mugav oli kasutada ka jalutuskäruna.

Vaatamata sellele, et tänavusel suvel peaks "sunshine highway" asemel olema hoopis "rainfall highway" hakkab Michael seda kaunist Rheini promenaadi kodus olles vast enim igatsema. Seda mööda sõidab ta iga päev tööle, üks ots on ca 25 km kodust.
