It is suddently very cold, and it has been snowing a little bit, so Margit went with Mait to visit Mare in Wermelskirchen, where the snow holds longer than in Cologne for sledging.

After lot of time Margit finally convinced me to go to the montains, so we went with other estonians most of them from Brussels and she was skiing in the mornings and i was taking snowboarding lessons in the evening...

On the way back we finally did make it to Radu's place in Lausanne, but we were really late and had no time to see the place :(, but it was still nice to chat a couple of hour with this old chilean friend ;)

And again this weekend the european choir of estonians, where several friends of ours are taking part of, met in Annaberg (Bonn) for an intensive exercising weekend in preparation to the Estonian Song Festival 2009, where more than 25,000 people gather to sing together.

Estonia

We spend christmas and new year in Estonia. Christmas at Siim's place in Saaremaa and new year's eve at Imbi's place in Tallinn, since Mait was sick :(.

BTW, Imbi and Siim are moving to Brussels this week.

Great Grandma's Birthday

We went this time to Estonia mainly to celebrate the 85th birthday of Margit's grandmother. But it was also the first ocasion for the grand parents to meet Mait.

Since the grand-grand mother could not make it to Cologne, we went to visit her. The aunt had also the possibility to meet Mait for the first time... let's say she was just too lazy to come to Cologne ;)
