We just came back from Estonia, and to start the serie of posts related to this trip, here a short thought about culture differences:
It took us almost one whole day to convince Imbi (Mait's estonian grandmother) to take Mait into her arms, but afterwards there was no way to take Mait away from her, and things became more normal for me...
In Chile people will killed each other for taking a baby first into their arms, i think in Germany it is a little bit more relaxed despite Christel (Mait's german grandfather wife) would also kill for it, and Estonian has been the coldest in this respect.
